The WPF has purchased new frames for this year’s salon. They take the new standard 50cm x 40 cm mounts. Print entries to the Salon must therefore comply with this new size.

Please hand the completed form with fees and images to your club secretary.
Master Entry Form – for club use
For entries to the Gwyn and Walter Morgan Trophy club competition, please indicate your chosen images in the Trophy column on the Master sheets.

Statement of Entry fees – for club use
There will be a basic entry fee of £5. This will enable members to enter a minimum of 4 images. Each extra submission will cost £1. This means that, should you wish to enter the maximum number of entries (12) the cost will now be £13.
- Where work has been accepted in one format in a previous year, it cannot be re-entered in another year in another format. This will result in disqualification.
- Awards are to be amended as follows:
The cup for Best Architectural print will not be awarded as entries for this category are low. This will be reviewed in subsequent years.
There will be a new award for best People picture in both prints and DPIs. (These can be candid or formal pictures)
There will also be a new award for Best Mono DPI.
- PRINT MOUNT SIZE – print mounts must now be the new standard of 50cm x 40cm. This is slightly smaller than the old standard of 20in x 16in. which will no longer be acceptable.

This year’s competition certainly went to the wire with the top five clubs separated by just four points. Thanks go to Crai Camera Club for ably hosting an excellent competition.

Talbot Green Community Centre
After the successful event at ‘Warwick’ in 2009, the WPF is encouraging more clubs to enter the third year of this competition which replaced the slide “Ace”.
