We are pleased to announce the 2010 5 to 8 Photo Harmony Competition for digitally projected AV sequences. The Worlds first Photo Harmony competition is now in its third year and entry is open to individuals, groups or clubs. The Judge for the 2010 competition is Robert Albright MA, FRPS. The closing date for entries is Sunday 14th March and judging will take place in April 2010. Full details of the competition and a printable entry form can be found on the club website:

About Robert Albright
Robert gained a Fellowship of the RPS in 2002 and currently serves as Chairman of the RPS Audio Visual Distinctions Panel, serves on the Advisory Board and is Regional Organiser for the RPS Western Region. He has judged and lectured extensively nationally and Internationaly, gained acceptances for his work in Print, PI and AV Exhibitions, Competitions and Salons. Robert won the 2009 National AV Championships.

The Photo Harmony category is designed to enable applicants to demonstrate their skills in the production and visual progression of images linked to sound. No words or story with a specific beginning, middle and ending is required. The emphasis is on matching the images with appropriate transitions and harmonising them with the sound. The RPS currently offers an LRPS distinction in this category and further details can be found here:
